Review:

Love Uncovered was a nice, quick read but there are also some sad past stories that still affect our main characters bringing some tears to the readers' eyes.I've enjoyed every facet of this story.

Brooke, our heroine, didn't find atractive the taciturn Nicholas the first time they met but now after a little time she can't ignore their over the top sexual tension and she can't run away from him anymore.
You can see their bond growing page after page and see that they are perfect for each other...you cannot not to wish a happy ending for them.

As his dead wife’s best friend, Zoe is off limits. Even if they seem to share a common sadness, she is too potent a personality to get romantically tangled with. Yet she’s making his heart beat and blood roar like he never thought it could again. And he doesn't want to just exist anymore . . .

Review:

This was the most awaited story in this series for me because I can slightly relate to Zoe predicament and I was really curious to find how Kelly Moran would have given her and Drake their happy ending.

Drake and Zoe journey from friends to lovers is scattered of hurdles.
The emotional ones are the hardest to overcome and they only succeed with the help of their family and friends.

New Tricks is the third installment in the Redwood Ridge series,it could be read as a stand alone but I suggest you to not miss the previous books because they are really good and unique.

Ashley is back in the second installment of the Pot Love series and she once again made me smile while reading her adventures and she also made me hungry reading her recipes.

I've enjoyed this story so much,I was excited to read more about Ashley and Giacomo's journey. They have a nice relationship full of love and when they encounter some bumps on the road I was glad to see them face them together.

I adored to read about some of the old characters and the new ones I met only added to the fun.

Dear author I hope to read soon a third novel of this series because I need to know what troubles Ashley will do in the future.

Review:

I have had a good time reading this book,it was extremely sweet with some good humour thrown between the pages.

Henley and Jeff love story begins with a chance encounter on a plane, it is love at first sight and what happens next is history...I don't want to ruin this novel for you so I'll keep this short and I recommend it to all the people that want to read something funny and lovely without ant major drama.

Birthquake was the first book I've read written by this author but her writing was so nice I want to catch up with her previous works.

Pucked Off by Helena Hunting

Release Date: 02.21.2017

Synopsis:

I’m NHL defenseman Lance Romero, AKA Lance “Romance."

I’m notorious for parties and excess. I have the most penalty minutes in the league. I get into the most fights. I take the most hits. I’m a player on and off the ice. I’m the one women with no inhibitions want.

Not because I like the notoriety, but because I don’t know how to be any other way.

I have secrets. Ones I shared with the wrong person, and she used them against me. Sometimes she still does. I should cut ties. But she makes it difficult, because she’s the kind of bad I deserve.

At least that’s what I believed until someone from my past gets caught up in my present. She’s all the good things in this world. She lights up my dark.

I shouldn’t want her.

But I do.

I should leave her alone.

But I won’t.

Review:

I loved this novel...I have a weakness for gingers and broken Heroes so this is really a win for me!

Lance character is more complicated than what I expected and I was caught up into his story from the first page.
I was so glad to see all the gang in this book and Violet is still my favorite unfiltered character I'd like to have as friend.

I hope Helena Hunting never stop to write about these characters because I really love every single one of them.

Ghosted by J.M. Darhower

Release Date: 08.23.2017

Synopsis:

He's a troubled young actor, Hollywood's newest heartthrob, struggling with fame as the star of the latest superhero franchise. Through scandal after scandal, addiction on top of addiction, a flurry of paparazzi hunt him as he fights to conquer his demons.

She's a single mother, assistant manager at a grocery store, existing in monotony with her five-year-old daughter. Every day when she goes to work, lurid tabloids surround her, the face of a notorious bad boy haunting her from their covers.

A man and a woman, living vastly different lives, but that wasn't always the case. Once, they were just a boy and a girl who bonded over comic books and fell in love unexpectedly.

When Kennedy Garfield met Jonathan Cunningham back in high school, she knew he had all the makings of a tragic hero. With stars in his eyes, and her heart on her sleeve, the pair ran away together to follow their dreams.

But dreams, sometimes, turn into nightmares.

Now, years later, the only thing they share is a daughter—one who has no idea her father plays her favorite superhero. But Jonathan is desperate to make amends, and at the top of his list is the woman who gave up everything for him and the little girl he hasn't yet met.

Review:

Ghosted was the "beautifulest" story I've read this year until now.
I would have given this book 4 stars but thanks to a little girl that makes everything more perfect and lovely I gave it 5 shining stars.

"You're the caterpillar that went into the cocoon and emerged a glorious butterfly, but I'm the reminder that butterflies don't stick around long, a few weeks at most before they're gone."

Kennedy and Jonathan journey towards reconciliation caught my interest at the first page and my affection for them grew chapter after chapter, while the present story made my heart fuzzy the past tale broke it and at times made me cry.

"Never make someone else the main character in your own story."

I really liked this second chance at love romance and it put J.M. Darhower on my radar,I'm going to start to read her other novels soon.
