Review:


I love anthologies because they give you the chance to find some new authors and to have a sample of their writing.
Once Upon a Pirate is a bundle of historcal stories set in a time when seas weren't too safe because pirates could attack ever so often.

One of my favourite story is An Imperfect Scoundrel by Alyssa Drake.
I've already met the heroine in the author's previous books in the Wiltshire Chronicles series but don't worry this story can be read also as a stand alone.

I was so curious to find out where the fate would take Mrs. Alana Dubois and I've devoured this short novella.I loved the main characters and I really hope there will be more about them in a new book.

Alana sails towards Boston,she never traveled so far from her family alone and she is a little scared but even before that she leaves her country's soil she makes a couple of friends. Unfortunately their ship is attacked from a group of ruthless pirates led by the renowned Captain Shaw and that's only the beginning of Alana's disadventures.
I won't say anything more about the plot but I promise if you one click this anthology you won't regret it.
