Cowboy's Secret Son by Leslie North

Synopsis:

Lights, Camera, Romance…

Remington’s late father left him half of the family’s famous cowboy camp. But he left the other half to a kid Remington has never met—although the adorable child's mother is no stranger. Melody Naly was Remington’s childhood best friend, until they foolishly spent a night together.

When Remington left home to become a hot shot rodeo star, Melody stayed to run the Collier Cowboy Camp, and to take care of Remington’s ailing father. But in the process, she sacrificed her dreams of traveling to raise her son...Remington’s son.

Remington only came back to star in a new reality show, following his renovations of the old-school camp, as he turns it into a state-of-the-art getaway for kids. With the cameras always rolling, nothing can stay hidden for long. Especially the smoldering tension—and chemistry—between Melody and Remington.

Once Remington finds out about his secret son, he’s desperate to be the best father he can be. But can Melody trust him this time, when he says he’s back for good?

Review:

Cowboy's Secret Son was a nice, quick read.
The tropes, friends to lovers, second chance and surprise kid, were very well written with a gripping wording and so many relatable feelings.

Remington comes back at his family ranch as the king of the rodeo circuit and he doesn't expect to confront with his old friend, Melody, for every decision that entail to modernise the Collier Ranch to cath the attention of more people for their cowboy camps.

I enjoyed to follow Melody and Remington journey. I think Remingtong were a little bit too immature and bullheaded but I adored how he instantly accept his son and hoe he tries to become a good father. Melody is my favourite character, she is strong even if at times she doesn't see her value, I liked how she stands up to Remington and never give up to his requests.
There are some steamy moments between them that show they haven't lost the chemistry in all the years they were separated.

I've read it in one sit, definitely recommended if you like Cowboys.
