Review:

The Lady's Proposal For The Laird was a good and satisfying story that held my interest until the end.
This is the second book in the Secrets Of Clan Cameron series, I suggest you to read the first novel before to start it to grasp every detail of this story.

Susanna Cameron secretly meets Laird Rowan Campbell to request the vow his clan have with her to be honored, in few words, she asks him to fake courting her in order to discover her brothers' secrets. Rowan doesn't easily give in at her request because he was hurt by Susanna in the past, but she knows all his weaknesses and in the end he surrenders to her will.

It was a pleasure to see how Susanna and Rowan rekindle their relationship, bit by bit they learn to trust and confide in each other. Their past experiences made them wary, but the pain for the lost of their beloved ones made them similar and it's the middle ground that they need to open up to each other.
I adored these characters, Rowan a little more, and I wished them to find their happiness.

I liked Jeanine Englert writing, it was engaging and emotional. But as usual the Highland setting conquered me with the evoking landscape that opens up in front of my eyes.

I'm already looking forward to the third book in the series to see the end of this intriguing historical trilogy.
