Soldier's Christmas Foundling by Clara Pines

Synopsis:

He’s a lonely soldier with a powerful crush. Is the adorable baby on his doorstep the Christmas miracle he needs to finally find the love he’s been longing for?

Levi Williams came home from the military a muscle-laden hunk with a law degree. But he’s never stopped secretly feeling like the lanky nerd he was in his teens. And he’s definitely never forgotten about Lily Hathaway, the fun-loving, pretty-in-pink cheerleader with a heart of gold he had an unrequited thing for. When Levi comes home one night to find a baby girl on his doorstep, he’s forced to ask Lily for a simple favor.

Lily Hathaway remembers the secret Levi kept for her back in high school. So, when he appears at her toy store in the middle of the night with a baby in his arms, she’s happy to do anything she can to help. She knows a brilliant, serious man like Levi would never fall for someone like her, but she’s grateful for the chance to be friends with someone she has always admired.

As their shared love for the baby that doesn’t belong to them grows, so does the chemistry they’ve both been fighting so hard. Will their budding friendship survive doing what’s right for baby Flora?

And what will happen when the small-town community of Trinity Falls comes together at Christmastime to try and ensure that these opposites can’t ignore their attraction any longer?

Review:

Clara Pines has written a new heartwarming, sweet and loving novel.

Soldier's Christmas Foundling tells Levi and Lily's story. They knew each other since school, but they resigned to stay afar, believing they weren't good enough for the other. One day their lives intermingle in order to help a baby girl who needs them.

I loved these characters. Levi and Lily are alike, they are altruist, kind, and they love their jobs. They are always ready to help others so I wished for them to finally find their happily ever after.

This was a quick read for me, it was too enjoyable to put down.
