Synopsis:

 

He’s back in his hometown for Christmas. But will any place feel like home without her?

Brad Williams followed his dreams to the city for a career in architecture years ago. Now the single dad has made his fortune, and he’s determined to come back home to Trinity Falls this Christmas to raise his daughter in the small town he’s always missed, with family all around.

The only trouble is Jillian, his daughter’s nanny, who has been like a mother to the little girl since her mom ran out when she was a baby. But Josie is older now, and she doesn’t really need a nanny anymore, especially with so much family around.

When Josie has a hard time saying goodbye, Jillian agrees to stay with them in Trinity Falls for one last Christmas together before she heads back to the city to start her new life without them.

And that means Brad just has to make it a few more weeks without revealing his secret feelings for her. But the crush he harbors for Jillian consumes him more with every moment he spends with the sweet young woman who has been like an angel to his small family for all these years.

As the decorations appear around town, and the holiday hits flow from the radio, it’s becoming clearer and clearer to Brad that all he wants for Christmas is the one thing he can’t have.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Architect's Christmas Nanny. It is a sweet, slow burn love story.

Brad Williams, a brilliant city architect, decided to move back home to Trinity Falls, in order to grow his daughter Josie with her cousins and grandparents. There's only one problem: he has to let go the nanny that conquered his and his daugther's heart. Fortunately they'll have a last Christmas together to say goodbye.

Jillian, Josie and Brad are likable and lovable.Throughout the story I found myself wanting things to work out for them.
They are perfect for each other, but their circumstances, as boss and employee, made them hide their true feelings until they fear to lose each other forever.

Clara Pines confirmed her talent to write long series without it getting boring and repetitive.
