Review:
The Lady's Bargain With The Rogue was a thrilling read, a Victorian romance with an interesting scavenger hunt.
Lady Elisabeth Bawden-Trebarr wants to regain her rights to her ancestral Cornish castle that she lost due to her late hasband's debts. So she makes a deal to buy it back to Sebastian Marsden in three weeks, there's only one problem: she has to find her family's treasure, buried centuries before, in order to have enough money to pay it.
I loved Eliza and Sebastian, they are strong, obstinate, and resilient. They both have a difficult past, they came from two prestigious families, due to different circumstances they lost everything, but they didn't lose heart and with great determination they pulled their lives together.
Sebastian and Eliza are fire together, sparks fly since their first meet, but they get closer slowly, knowing each other better and better they have the time to acknowledging and embrace their feelings.
Melissa Oliver wrote a great story. She tied exceptionaly well this storyline with her previous medieval book, and the characters are well depicted and believable.
I recommend this novel and I am looking forward to next book in the series already.
