Review: I loved the cover and the title of this book at first sight. Death In A Pale Hue was a good read. The story was well written, the characters were a very nice bunch, the small town depicted in all its glory and flaws, but I found the culprit and the reason of the murder pretty soon. I&#

Review: A Secret Gift was a nice, inspiring read. The storyline and the writing was brilliant. Joy is a young widow who works at a nursing home. A day one of her elderly residents gives het a jar of "magic" pebbles that'll change her life. Joy was a great characters, her grief feels relatable and I wished the best for her since the beginning. I've enjoyed her adventures with the pebbles and their recipients.  She understood that helping others helped herself to find the right  p

The Silence In The Sound by Dianne C. Braley

  Synopsis: I was thrown in by the title of this book as soon as I've read it, add in the beautiful cover and I couldn't not get it. The Silence In The Sound was an emotional journey, we get to know Georgette, George, through her past and her present. She hasn't had an happy youth living with an alcholic father, but their trip at Martha’s Vineyard was so enlightning that years later she decides to go to live there. I grew attached to George's character, I wished the best for her and the ending left me with a nice feeling.   I tell you this is a book you love or you don't, but I really liked the writing and the storyline. The addiction theme is written in a good and powerful way, it resonated with my soul and it made me  really invested in the characters' lives.
