Reverse Pass by Maggie Rawdon

Synopsis:

Violet

He’s the star wide receiver and the most wanted player on campus.
He has it all—the body, the voice, the charm and the dimples.
Plus he flirts constantly and cooks dinner shirtless in my kitchen.

There’s just one problem—he’s my best friend’s younger brother.

She sent him to live with me so I can help him get his life back in order.
Which makes him off limits in every way possible.

But now we share a wall and secrets.
Like the confession he makes when he accidentally walks in on me one night.

Ben

I’m usually so good with women that my teammates come to me for advice.
But they don’t know my secret. They don’t know about her.
The one woman I want—the one I can’t stop thinking about—barely knows I exist.

Until everything goes wrong, and I land on her doorstep.
The worst day of my life might just turn out to be my luckiest.

Because she’s fresh off a broken engagement—single for the first time in forever.
And she can’t keep her eyes off of me.
I just need to convince her I’m worth breaking the rules.

Review:

Reverse Pass by Maggie Rawdon is the fourth book in the Plays & Penalties series, I discovered this author only now so I haven't read the previous ones but I followed Violet and Ben's story just fine.

Ben needs a place to sleep as soon as possible after he messed up his last accomodation, and maybe his career as a college football player. Fortunately his older sister convinces her best friend, Violet, to rent out a room of her flat to him. Ben has a crush on Violet since he was a teen but she didn't give him a chance. Will Ben fulfill his sexy dreams now that he is all grown up, she is single and they share an apartment?

I adored Ben, he is so cute and sweet and also extremely hot with that body of his. I can understand Violet initial reservations, she is five years older than Ben, she is in a doctorate while he is still a student, but in the end what really matters are the feelings, and I'm glad she understood it.
This couple has an incredible chemistry, they share a deep phisical attraction and also a mental connection. I've enjoyed to read their journey and I was really satisfied with the ending.

Wow, Maggie Rawdon wrote a very spicy story, but she also kept a good characterization of the characters and an intriguing plot.
This was the first time I read this author's work but it won't be the last.
