Forever Pucked by Helena Hunting

Release Date: 03.29.2016

Being engaged to Alex Waters, team captain and the highest paid NHL player in the league, is awesome. How could it not be?

In addition to being an amazing hockey player, he’s an incurable romantic with an XL heart, and an XXL hockey stick in his pants. And he knows how to use it. Incredibly, orgasmically well. Alex is the whole package and more. Literally. Like his package is insane. Total world record holder material.

So it makes complete sense that Violet Hall can’t wait to nail him down to the matrimonial mattress and become Mrs. Violet Waters.

It’s so romantic.

Violet is totally stoked to set a date.

Eventually. At some point. Likely before the next millennium. Or when Violet stops getting hives every time someone brings up the wedding, and their mothers stop colluding on stadium sized venues. Whichever comes first.

If you enjoyed Pucked you will definitely love this novel because Alex's Super MC and Violet's crazy Beaver are BE READY TO BE FOREVER PUCKED!!

I really really liked this book, my eyes and my beaver got a little wet while reading it.

I was so glad to see all the gang back to celebrate this wedding...but there will be a lot of surprises before those two tied the knot.

I won't say anything have to read this book to find out!

I really hope the next book in the series will be released soon because I need to know the missing stories of Charlene & Darren and Lance,I KNOW they have interesting stories to tell.

"It's as hard to be the shadow as it is to be the light,Alex."

The Lost and Found Life of Rosy Bennett by Jan Birley

Release Date: 11.04.2015

Rosy loved her London life – her job in a designer shop, her gorgeous West London family house and of course her gorgeous family (although young sons are enough to test anyone at times). All that disappears when, one unremarkable morning, after one unremarkable school run, her husband collapses on a crowded tube carriage and dies. As she struggles her way through the grief, she discovers her husband’s secret life: secrets accounts, secret deals that their solicitor knew nothing of, secret debts and what looks like a secret “very close friend” at least.
Totally unprepared and suddenly in debt, Rosy is forced to leave London to start a new life with her incredibly reluctant boys in the countryside. Can angsty urban teenagers cope with farm life, let alone enjoy it? More to the point, can their mother? It’s certainly not going to be easy but when you are at rock bottom the only way is up.

This was a good book. The plot and the writing picked my interest since the beginning and the mystery to discover pushed me to greedily turn page after page.

Rosy Bennett, our heroine, was a likable character. She seems so real that I felt really bad for her at the beginning and I was really happy at the end.

I've appreciated that she never gave up even if it wasn't easy to leave the city she knows and loves, her best friend and her siter to go to live in an alpaca farm in a little village with her two sons. But she succeeds to reorganise her whole life counting only on herself, trusting her choices, fighting for the things she started to love.

I've really enjoyed this novel and I highly recommend it.

Two burly Aussies were running up and down the stairs, cracking jokes and tossing boxes as though they were feathers into the removal van. Another was in the kitchen, arm-deep in bubble wrap, sorting out her cupboards. Rosy and the boys were in the family room, all three shell-shocked that they were really leaving. None of them spoke but looked round disconsolately at their lives disappearing into cardboard.

Rosy broke the silence. ‘Come on guys, it isn’t going to be that bad. You can have friends to stay, we’re not emigrating.’

‘May as well be.’ James half-heartedly kicked the sofa, head drooping. Rosy attempted to put her arm around his shoulders but he pushed her away. She looked across at Archie who managed a small grin as he trudged up the stairs carrying a box.

‘This would never be happening if Dad was still here,’ James said angrily.

Probably not, thought Rosy tiredly. Or maybe it would? God knows what he had intended for us. She bit back these words but found herself saying firmly, ‘James. I am doing the best I can. For your information, I don’t want to go either. So just for once, put up and shut up.’

At least he was still speaking to her.

Emma’s voice called down. ‘Thought I’d come and say goodbye. How’s it going?’

Boot and jean-clad legs appeared down the stairs. Rosy and James looked at her, their shoulders hanging down miserably.

‘Ah, like that is it? Good job I’ve brought cake, macaroons, two bags of Doritos and sweeties too…’

‘Yes, and I’ve got a box of basics for when you get there.’ Clare, ever practical, appeared at the top of the stairs.

Rosy looked up, tears in her eyes at their kindness, thinking how much she was going to miss them. As if reading her thoughts, Clare said, ‘And I shall probably see much more of you, I’ll be coming down all the time. You’ll be sick of me. Can’t wait to see the farm and the animals.’

They took the bags from Emma as Rosy hugged her. ‘Rosy, you are not to start getting weepy. For heaven’s sake, it's Easter shortly, I’m coming to stay soon. By then you’ll probably be thinking Dorset’s the best thing that’s ever happened.’

James looked slightly mollified. They went up to join Clare and Archie in the kitchen; the Aussies had succeeded in clearing out the place in less time than it usually took Rosy to mop the floor. She walked into the empty drawing room, which seemed to have doubled in size and looked around at the rectangles left on the walls where pictures had hung.

Heartbroken, she put her hand on the mantelpiece and whispered goodbye to her home, determined that they should get this over and go as soon as possible. Tears dribbled down her cheeks and she wiped them away quickly, not wanting the boys to see her misery.

By late morning, the van had left. Their car was stuffed with all the things they would need immediately and the three of them stood awkwardly looking at the front door. She gazed back into the hall at the skirting where Simon had promised to paint the scuffs that their Cresta Run games had made. Already this didn’t feel like home anymore.

‘Don’t worry, Emma and I will sort out anything left here; we’ll drop the keys in at the agents. You go, you want to get there in good time.’ Clare squeezed her nephews and pushed them outside. They climbed into the car, reluctance clear in every movement.

‘Thank you so much for everything. I don’t know what I would have done…’

‘Yes, we know. Off you go.’ Emma caught hold of her hand. ‘Come on.’

Rosy picked her bag up from the hall floor, looking sadly round for the last time and hugged each of them in turn, not daring to speak, knowing her voice would break. She turned and fled to the car, jumping in and starting up the engine. To disguise their tears, they all waved frantically at Emma and Clare standing on the doorstep. She drove off, still not trusting herself to speak.

Had their entire marriage been a trick play? Or was it simply just a false start into their happily ever after?

This is a good debut novel.I'm ready to read more from this author.

Jax and Alivia Monaghan are a beautiful couple and with their two daughters they have a lovely family until the day Jax feels the need to walk away.Fortunately he understands he made a mistake and wants everything back.

My favorite character is our Hero,Jax.This big, handsome, sweet and lovable man that will do everything to protect his girls, his Family. Plus he is an amazing quarterback.

I liked the main characters and every single one of their friends.
I'm so curious about the supporting characters' stories I hope the next book in the series is out pretty soon.

I have particularly enjoyed reading about the second chance at love of this married couple.

What they had done felt better than any sexually charged daydream he had formulated in his head over the course of the past year. He had looked forward to taking it slow, steady and savoring every part of her again, but she had been too ambitious. Too ready. And he wanted more. Immediately gaining consciousness after their first mind-blowing round, they had taken advantage of the large bathtub well into the early morning hours. Quietly laughing to himself, he thought about the mess they had made in the bathroom before both of them finally collapsed into bed. She was worn out, no doubt, which was fine by him because he didn’t want to move. He didn’t want to have to be forced to let her out of his arms. Not yet. The thought that things could be different and that he could actually make her happy again, to protect her and shield her, had his mind running laps all morning. Was it possible that she would let him back into her life? He had taken a huge risk when he had left, pushing her away her away like he had, almost losing her completely.

Liv’s eyelashes fluttered open lightly, and she greeted him with a lazy smile, a smile that he was proud that he had put back onto her beautiful face again.

“Hey you.” She looked up at him, stretching before curling back into his side, her voice husky.

“Hey yourself,” he winked. Running his fingers through her hair, they laid in comfortable silence, and he won-dered if she was replaying the last twenty-four hours inside her head just as he was.

“I guess we have to head back to reality, huh?” she whispered against his skin, goosebumps spreading across his body.

“Yeah,” he resigned, wondering exactly what that reality held for them now. “But we get to see the munch-kins,” he added, smiling at the thought of the girls.

“I miss them so much.” She looked up at him and he hoped like hell that reality held with it the possibility of waking up every morning with her again, just like this.

After several close, but unsuccessful attempts at convincing Liv for another go around in the shower before they checked out, Jax refused to give her a towel when she stepped out of the shower until she promised to finish what they had started when they got home. She had been quiet while packing their bags, a reminder not to rush her. The sex had been hard and fast, but he needed to take things with her slow and easy. Still unable to shake the small pang of fear that last night had been an isolated breakthrough; that they had finally suc-cumbed to the sexual tension that had been suffocating both of them, but that she had no intentions of letting him back into her life. That his words had finally resonated with her that he, in fact, had nearly destroyed her.

Pushing the unproductive thought aside, he carried their bags down to the lobby before grabbing them both a much needed coffee before reluctantly handing in their room keys to paradise. Pulling onto the freeway to-wards home, he instinctively reached for her hand, and this time she took it. Running his thumb over her knuckles, he couldn’t have imagined two days ago, when she couldn’t get far enough away from him inside the car, that now, heading home, to their home, he was holding her.

Hope is within reach.

This book was such a great discovery, thanks to my book friend that recommended it to me.
The writing was so beautiful I couldn't read it fast enough.
It wasn't an easy read because the story is so moving I've also shed some tears. It broke my heart at times but it mended it back together in the end.

"If you let people see how dark your drawings are, and how gorgeous they are, then they can see that sometimes the most beautiful things are broken. People need to know that. They need your art. And, trust me, they’ll want it."

The characters are depicted really well they seem so real with their past stories, their flaws and their virtues.
I've loved how they come together to solve Hope's scavenger hunt to honor her memory.

" I glimpse his hazel eyes. They look like autumn leaves, colorful and fallen and sad."

It was really hard to choose only one faorite character but I think Erik, the jock with the sad eyes, won my heart.

"She gave me the same thing she's always given me.hope."

Heading to the elevator hand in hand, Owen looked down at her, smiling.

He shook his head. "Nothing. It's just, God, life is exciting with you." He winked.

"You call stealing an already stolen cat and fighting with a psycho exciting? You need a life," she teased.

He laughed. "You might be right. But seriously, what other girl could offer me such mad, crazy entertainment?" He purposefully bumped into her shoulder with his.

They walked into the elevator, and he squeezed her hand, prompting her to look up at him.

"What now?" She grinned, feeling fluttery in her chest. Even in a hospital elevator, he made her smile.

*This is the conclusion to Freed by Him and cannot be read as a standalone*
**This book is suitable for readers 17yrs and older due to adult themes - yes there are "steamy" scenes!**

Caught By Her is the sequel of Freed By Him and it starts where the first novel ends.

I was really curious to know where this story would have brought Lena and Nate and I wasn't disappointed at all. It taught me to never surrender to the evil in your life and to always fight for love.

I think I have found a new favorite author that caught me with her beautiful writing.

This time our kisses were soft and sweet, his hands cradled my face as his lips gently brushed mine.

Our tongues tangled together in a slow dance as he began to make love to me as the music played in the background.

This was completely different from our previous encounters.

This was love.

This was so incredibly intimate and sensual.

Tears glistened in my eyes, and I fought to stop them falling. The emotional intensity was almost more than I could bear.
This wasn’t about making me come un-done; this was about sealing us together, bonding us, sharing something incredible and powerful together.

The words resonated deep within me as he kissed and caressed me.
I’d never felt so connected to someone; it was unlike anything I’d ever experienced.

He maintained eye contact with me as he worshipped my body, his eyes telling me more than his words ever could.

I thought I’d laid myself bare to Nate by telling him my secrets, but this was so much more than that.
I felt totally exposed to him and instead of feeling anxious, I felt cherished and loved.
My chest ached.
My heart felt like it had swollen to burst.

The sensations flooding my system were overwhelming me and I clung to him, my fingertips digging into his back, my nails raking up and down as I pulled him closer to me.

I could feel myself climbing towards my third orgasm, my mind scattered, my emotions frayed and my body taut. I wanted to tell him I didn’t think I could cope with anymore.

It was all too much.

My words were garbled, moans indecipherable, I closed my eyes for a moment and heard him call my name through the fog of pleasure.

“Lena, look at me, Princess.” His voice was strained but demanding.

I opened my eyes as my body seemed to dissolve beneath me as a wave of pleasure washed over me, the intensity forcing a strangled cry from me.
He slowed slightly as I rode out my orgasm.

My body felt boneless, my senses overloaded, before he increased his tempo again, chasing his own release.

Within minutes my name became a long drawn out moan on his lips as he reached his climax.
He held his weight off me with his forearms but dropped his head down onto my chest.
I could feel his heart beating against my own chest.
