Synopsis: With her new-found happiness unexpectedly crushed, Clara is struggling to move forward. It's hard – especially with step-sister Lois bouncing around the place with joy and making all sorts of plans for the future. When step-mum Irene starts behaving oddly and a neighbour makes a shocking accusation, Clara finds herself in an impossible position. And it's a situation that threatens to destroy her blossoming romance almost before it's begun . . . Review: A Winter Wish is the second book in the Clara's trilogy, it was a fabulous read, it's so well written. I love this author, I keep coming back at this series because I appreciate the leisurely pace with some deeper contents here and there. Clara is an amazing character, she is kind and selfless. I got a little frustrated with her family instead, they don't appreciate her and all her efforts to keep the family together for her little brother's sake. I hope that in the last novel she gets her happily
