She’s felt invisible her whole life, so the host of new friends and the attention of a sexy author have her head spinning.

But Alec has a secret that could prove this isn’t the life Faith dreamed of after all . . .

I really enjoyed this book,it was a pleasure to go back to Covington Cove.

I loved how the author wrote this story with a lot of sensitivity .Kelly Moran delivered a story full of emotions that will warm your heart.

Alec and Faith can't seem more different, one a famous author and the other a shy teacher, but it's intriguing how they understand each other on a higher level,a more intimate way.
And I was so happy to find all the characters we met in the previous book and to have another look at their lives.

I really enjoyed this second chance love story.

Savvy Hollywood writer Lola Scott is about to get fired from the TV show she created because she still hasn’t cast the role of the dark, brooding bounty hunter. But then HE walks in … Arlen Black. And he’s perfect for the part. But he’s not an actor there to audition. Nope. He’s the handyman Lola hired to renovate her historic Hollywood house. No problem—Lola gleefully offers him the dream job of a lifetime. But the stoic recluse-in-a-tool-belt wants nothing to do with Lola and her show. What?! Really?

So Lola goes after him with everything she’s got. But as she draws Arlen into her chaotic world of TV production, Hollywood gossip sinks its claws into him. And when one paparazzi photo threatens to destroy everything he holds dear, Lola’s got to move heaven and Earth not to save the show … but to save Arlen.

**This novel reads as a stand-alone story within the In Love in the Limelight universe: Los Angeles, where the stars and paths of different characters might cross, and where the paparazzi is always ready to sink in its glittery talons.**

I liked this book,it was funny and sweet.

Lola and Arlen seem so different from each other, they come from two different worlds, the first is a crazy Hollywood showrunner and the other is a broody handyman, but the reader cannot not to grow fond of them and root for them.

The handyman Lola's just hired to renovate her house shows up for their first meeting, but she thinks he's an actor there to audition for her TV show … audition for the role of the sexy, brooding bounty hunter.

“Lola Scott? You're the woman in charge?” He's looking all askance at my faded tee and worn jeans.

I let my smile unfurl. Why not? This guy is a kick. “I'm the showrunner. Yes.”

“Yes,” I say easily, deciding I can work with his level of inexperience. “I'm the writer who created the show, and I'm pretty much in charge of everything. From casting, to shooting, to editing. I run the show. Showrunner.”

He's nodding but looking at me as if he's thinking about what he's going to make for dinner tonight. Seriously? He's losing interest in the details of the show? He really IS already in character for my aloof bounty hunter. Either that or ...

I tilt my head and scrunch my eyes à la Alicia Silverstone. “Is this your first time working in TV?” I place a reassuring hand on his arm.

He jumps back, making me feel like I just burned him with a curling iron. He puts his hands in his back pockets and looks at me with such blatant … examination, like he recognizes me from a WANTED poster in the post office. “That's a weird way of putting it,” he says. “But yes, this is the first time I've been to a studio.”

“Mmmm,” I muse. Fresh blood. Makes it easier.

“Look,” he says, taking his hands out of his pockets and looking around as if to find the nearest exit. “You seem really busy. Can we just do this?”

“Yes,” I practically chirp, standing to attention. “We can fill in the details later, but so far, you've really nailed it.”

“Uh … nailed what, exactly?”

“The image is perfect,” I practically coo. “Very Aragorn meets Wolverine.” I look him up and down, then slowly start to circle him. “I like the beard,” I tell him. “More than five-o'clock shadow, but clipped close enough to see the planes of your face and the cut of your jaw. Good choice.”

He backs away from me, turning to stay face to face with me. “Lady ...”

“You've got that roguish, brooding thing going,” I murmur, getting lost in the intense, bordering-on-angry, look on his face. “Those dark eyes are killer.”

His lips part but he doesn't say anything. Score. The guy can really pull off silence.

“Hmmm,” I say, considering.

“What now? Jesus, what the hell is going on?”

I look up into his face. He seems like he seriously just fell off the truck, making leverage points useless with him. This blade runner with the soul of Pollyanna just dropped into my lap and I have to handle him right.
With sincerity.

“It's nothing we can't work around,” I say, brushing it off with a laugh. “It's just that you're a little older than I had in mind.”

“Old?” he squawks. “I'm only thirty-two!”

“Thirty-two can totally work,” I assure him. “We'll make it work.”

He steps back with the barest hint of a nod.

“And you're okay with partial nudity?” I ask.

“Relax,” I say, trying not to laugh. “I just mean taking your shirt off. Maybe once in a while. But nothing gratuitous. Only when necessary.”

“Look, I don't care how hot it is, I don't strip at work.”

“When you see how much money is in it for you, I think you'll change your mind. And there's no sex. Not at first, anyway.”

“That's it.” He spins on his heel and heads to the stairwell.

“Wait!” I call, rushing to get ahead of him, blocking the door to the exit. “It's okay if you're afraid you won't look perfect. Colin Firth totally panicked like that on the set of Circle of Friends. We'll get you on a daily fitness regimen so that when the time comes, you'll have nothing to be shy about.”

“Listen,” he begins, his voice galvanized with more authority than I'm used to from auditioning actors. “You need to get out of my way and let me leave. You've clearly got some guy-in-a-tool-belt fantasy, and I'm telling you up front, I'm not interested.”

My head snaps back the tiniest fraction before I stop it. “Tool belt? You mean, like, to carry your gun?”

The Hard Count by Ginger Scott

Release Date: 07.15.2016

Nico Medina’s world is eleven miles away from mine. During the day, it’s a place where doors are open—where homes are lived in, and neighbors love. But when the sun sets, it becomes a place where young boys are afraid, where eyes watch from idling cars that hide in the shadows and wicked smoke flows from pipes.

West End is the kind of place that people survive. It buries them—one at a time, one way or another. And when Nico was a little boy, his mom always told him to run.

I’m Reagan Prescott—coach’s daughter, sister to the prodigal son, daughter in the perfect family.
Life on top.
My world is the ugly one. Private school politics and one of the best high school football programs in the country can break even the toughest souls. Our darkness plays out in whispers and rumors, and money and status trump all. I would know—I’ve watched it kill my family slowly, strangling us for years.

In our twisted world, a boy from West End is the only shining light.
I hated him before I needed him.
I fell for him fast.
I loved him when it was almost too late.

When two ugly worlds collide, even the strongest fall. But my world…it hasn’t met the boy from West End.

This was he 156th book I've read this year but it definitely is one of my favorite.

The story, the characters and the very good writing will grab your attention from the first page and you won't want to say goodbye to them at the end.

The Hard Count was a beautiful love story and so much more...I appreciated how the growing relationship between Nico and Reagan is not the only focus of the plot, actually it is only the starting point to discover their different worlds, their friends and families.
I love High School Football and I really liked how the author described the games and the pressure behind this beautiful sport.

This story touched me so much because it is so realistic it hurts as much as it was mine.
Even if I'm not american this story made me think,I live in a city considered by many the West End of my country and this made me really sad because I love this city as much as Nico loves his neighborhood.

I enjoyed Montana Secret Santa really much I was so sad to finish it.

I fell in love with the little village of Marietta, its Christmas atmosphere and its kind and merry villagers.

I liked Jonah and Krista's story.

From I’m Scheming of a White Christmas by Kate O’Keeffe

A bit of background: Tilly and her friend Lana have arrived at a Christmas party in New York City where they have a plan to avenge what happened to Tilly at the hands of the dreamy Brady McKinnon back in high school...

I turned to see Brady approaching us. As part of Point One (Look Devastatingly Hot), with a sigh of regret, I shrugged my warm winter coat off, shivered, and tried to look Super Model bored—as though the scene before me wasn’t my idea of Christmas perfection.
I flicked my hair the way Lana suggested, trying to look confident and sexy. Thanks to almost the entire contents of a bottle of hairspray, it barely budged.
Brady had a big grin on his impossibly handsome face and he was dressed in a pair of jeans and a bomber jacket, bundled up against the cold.

“Hi, Tilly! I’m so glad you could make it.”

“Hi, Brady. Nice...” my eyes drifted down to his flashing bowtie. “... tie.”

He fingered it self-consciously. “Got to get into the swing of things, right?” His eyes swept over me. “You look... wow.”

I glanced down at my short, red sequined dress with the plunging neckline. It showcased my usually meagre cleavage, which was hoisted up so high by Lana’s industrial strength padded bra that my chin could almost rest on it. I adjusted my Santa hat atop my lacquered hair.

There was an outside chance I may have been a little over dressed right now.

Brady reached across and, to my utter surprise, pulled me in for a hug. “Thanks so much for coming. Have you done something different tonight?”

I battered my false eyelashes at him, the way Lana taught me. No matter how good she said they made me look it felt like I had a couple of dead, fat caterpillars stuck to my upper eyelids. I don’t know how those Kardashians did it: it was not a good feeling.

“Why, thank you for noticing, Brady,” I responded, my voice low and husky as I channelled my inner sex goddess—who, incidentally, I’d never met before.

He gave me a sideways look. “Are you coming down with something? Maybe you should put your coat on. It’s cold out tonight.”

I cleared my throat, did my best to suppress a fresh shiver. “No, I’m just... no. Thanks.” I shot him an I’m-so-sexy-I-can-barely-function look, tossing my immobile big hair once more. Losing my balance I teetered on my heels, forced to steady myself with aeroplane arms.

Not quite the look I was going for.

Brady watched all this with a hesitant look on his face. “That’s... that’s just great.” He smiled at Lana beside me, who had been observing our exchange closely.

“Hi. I’m Brady.” He extended his hand.

She took it, shaking it with vigour. “Lana Schwartz. Nice place you’ve got here.”

“Oh, it’s not mine. It belongs to Tobey Thomas’s parents.” He turned to me, releasing Lana’s hand. “You remember Tobes, don’t you, Tilly?”

“Sure do!” I smiled as I imagined seeing Tobey Thomas thrown from the roof terrace to his certain death below. “It’ll be so great to see him again,” I lied through a fake smile. I was perkier than Polly Pert at a pep rally.

Brady sniffed the air, his nose wrinkling. “Do you smell that?”

I moved Chester’s output behind my back, hoping my body would somehow muffle the stench. “No. Nothing. What?”

“It smells a bit like... something died.”

“Really? Something died, you say?” I squeaked like a mouse. “Do you smell anything, Lana?”

“Just the scent of Christmas,” she responded smoothly.

“Okay.” Brady looked uncertain. “Why don’t you both come with me? I’ll get you a drink.”

“Here’s a present.” Lana thrust the bag of chocolate Santas at Brady.

He took the packet in his hands. “Thank you.”

Lana’s eyes were trained on him. “It’s chocolate. Homemade. Have one now.”

He let out a laugh. “I’m not sure chocolate will mix with beer, but I’ll keep them for later. Thanks.”

Lana nudged me. “Tell him why he has to eat one now, Tilly.”

I took the cue, searching my brain for a plausible reason. “Well, Brady... in New Zealand... we eat chocolate with our beer all the time.”

Yes. That’s good. Plausible. Reasonable. A total lie, of course.

He shot me a dubious look. “You do? Doesn’t that make the beer taste bad?”

“Not at all. In fact, we believe the sweetness of the chocolate enhances the hops in the beer.”

Where did that come from?
A smile spread across his face. “Is that so?”

“Yes, yes it is, Brady. And not only that, we New Zealanders take it as a personal affront if you don’t eat our chocolate at Christmas time.”

Wow, I was on a roll!

“Huh. I didn’t know that. I’ve never been to New—”

Brady stopped speaking abruptly as Lana snatched the bag of chocolates from his hand and unwrapped them with haste, dropping the mistletoe and ribbon carelessly to the floor. “Here.” She thrust the open packet at him. “Eat one, or you’ll offend Tilly.” She leant in closer to him. “And I know you don’t want to do that.”

He glanced at me. I smiled feebly back. Lana sure was a woman on a mission tonight.

Lana and I watched intently as he reached into the bag and pulled a chocolate Santa out. Without putting it in his mouth, he said, “Now, let’s get that drink.”

“But...” Lana began.

I elbowed her in the ribs. “Leave it,” I muttered through teeth clasped into a smile. “We don’t want to be too obvious.”

Found You by Dahlia Donovan

Release Date: 11.29.2016

Kent Casado has lost everything that defined him: his construction business, his husband, his home, and his fortune. He went from one of the first gay men to marry in Colorado, to the first to be divorced. Crushed and alone, his only recourse is to move into a hurricane-damaged cottage in Key West, but his troubles seem to follow him to the beach paradise.

Dusk “Doctor Dusky” Keller has never allowed himself to be defined by anyone or anything. Growing up in the Keys with his hippie parents, he ran an animal hospital until a hurricane destroyed it. He never expects to fall straight into lust with an uptight stranger who he sees on his daily beach walks.

Satisfied with a prolonged one-night stand, neither expects to plummet from casual to complicated.

Found You was a good read.

I loved to read about Kent and Dusk reconstruction of both their places and their lives.
I've appreciated how the story develops without any major drama focusing instead on the main characters growing attraction and affection.

This was a short novella but the author made an amazing job to deliver a very compelling and intriguing story in a few pages.

While Dusk drifted away from him, Kent found himself drawn to inspecting the man. He had longish dirty-blond hair, wavy, and out-of-control; it matched the scruff on his face which was barely more than a five o’clock shadow. He had tanned skin likely from days spent under the heat of the Florida sun, which only served to make his incredible blue eyes stand out.

Those eyes glanced back toward him as if sensing his perusal. Dusk winked at him and waved cheerily. It only worked to make the blue even brighter.

Kent could easily spot at least three tattoos on the dog walker with his beach attire of khaki shorts and a tank top. He had an island and ocean scene on his left arm while his right had several symbols on it that looked almost like doctor symbols, but might’ve been for a vet instead. The edges of some sort of map peeked out from under his shirt in the back.

A few more steps sent Dusk out of his view. It left Kent with one lasting impression—the man did have a nice ass. He might put up with the barking dogs for a closer look at it each morning. Not the chickens, however. Maybe he could write to Popeye’s to offer them up. The locals might not be too thrilled with him, but he might get to sleep in a little.

Stretching his legs out until his feet dug into the sand, Kent relaxed against the steps with his eyes closed against the sun. Florida had certainly not done anything for his productivity. His type-A need to accomplish tasks had taken a nosedive over the last few weeks.

With a little help from a furry friend, these two lost souls find each other in the heart of Manhattan. But when Tish and Spence are pitted against each other in a trial that pushes them both to their limits, can their budding relationship survive?

This was such a sweet and lovely read,I smiled a lot reading it.
