Review:

Lately I prefer to not read heartbreaking stories, but I couldn't miss a Natasha Madison work, so I picked up Shattered Dreams with shaky hands. The result was I loved this novel, even if for the most it was sorrowful, dark, frustrating, and annerving, because it was wonderfully written.

After a car crash Autumn Thatcher, miserable and full of regrets, skipped her hometown. Now she is back to take care of her family and her family business, and no one can force her to leave again, not even the fierce Charlie Barnes.

I saw Autumn grow up through out this book. Despite her initial loneliness and helplessness, she regained her confidence and finished strong and compelled.
I loved her, I wanted to hug her, she seems so real and relatable, her story made me think that unfortunately there are a lot of women around the World that are living the same Autumn's hell and I hope they can find a little strength to fight back.
At the beginning I despised Charlie, because he is consumed with pain and hate, later on he redeemed himself, when he finally listen to Autumn's side of the story, understanding that he is not the only one hurt by the past events.
Autumn and Charlie, passed the disagreements and the venomous retorts, are a cute, sweet and hot couple.

I felt this story. I cried a river for these characters. I recommend it if you don't have any triggers and if you are in the mood for a good emotional read.
