Love Lessons by Sarina Bowen

Synopsis:

After I’m arrested for throwing a raucous party, my hockey team says I have an image problem. And I need to fix it, stat.

Charity work? Check. Haircut? Sure. But I draw the line at hiring my neighbor to style me. In the first place “style” shouldn’t be a verb. And I’m tired of people who’d judge me on appearances.

Vera and I don’t see eye to eye on anything. She wants me to try on clothes, while I just want to remove hers. She's distractingly pretty, with soulful eyes and a sinful mouth that likes to argue with me.

But when management threatens my summer vacation, I grudgingly agree to Vera’s unusual proposal: she’ll give me an image makeover. But in return, she wants lessons in the art of seduction.

It sounds a little nutty, but I know a good opening when I hear it. Besides, it’s not like I’ll ever fall for her…

Review:

When Sarina Bowen breathe I'm in awe, I adore her stories and characters, but this time she put into this book a little of my country so I'm even more enchanted.

Ian Crickey is a hockey player for Brooklyn Bruisers but at the moment he has some problems with the management due to his poor public image, fortunately he has planned an italian vacation with some of his teammates to relax and recharge. Little he knows that his beautiful but unnerving new neighbour Vera was invited to the italian villa too.

Ian and Vera have a rocky relationship, they have different personalities and interests, they argue a lot about almost anything but the physical attraction between them is undeniable and strong.
I liked both the main characters because their differencies and banters make the reading entertaining and enjoyable, the cocky but sweet hero and the feisty and passionate heroine conquered me and made me their number one fan. The Love Lessons were really hot and spicy, they made me wish to not be single.

I seriously recommend giving this book a try, you won't be disappointed.
