Risky Game was a good, steamy read where the age gap is the main trope.
This is the fourth book in the Nashville Steel series but it could be read as a standalone.
As the new coach of the Nashville Steel, Logan Caldwell has to focus on his job to earn the respect of his team and of the entire league, so when his ex wife leave him to take care of his daughter for a few months he is desperate to find a nanny right away. Ruby Moore lives at his brother's house while she licks her wounds and tries to start again, so when his brother's coach offers her to become his daughther's nanny for a crazy high pay she can't refuse. Logan and Ruby have a strong attraction and an outstanding chemistry that could cause them a lot of trouble. Will they refrain to act on their desires, or will they indulge in the pleasure putting at risk their new daily routine?
I've enjoyed the progression of Ruby and Logan relationship. They started as strictly sex partners, but that line easily blurred because they let their guard down, and begin to care for each other, and trust each so much they share their secrets. I liked how they discover their more adventurous side in bed together. They are playful and hot, they have a lot of complicity and affection.
I became a huge fan of Stacey Lynn because her writing is filled with emotions and spiciness, her characters are never dull, and her storylines are compelling and organically developped.
I cannot wait for next book.
