Review:
Sea Glass Memories is a heartfelt story about grief.
It felt personal to me, and I think every person who had lost someone they love could easily relate to the main character inner journey.
Elana spent the last two years grieving her late husband, she thinks that transferring in a new town could help her to accept his passing. She moves to Maine, to be near her brother, and to become the new english teacher at the Seahaven High, but she still feels like a piece missing, so she decides to attend a grief support group to seek some comfort.
I adored Elana. She is stronger than she thinks, and the way she puts herself out there is inspiring and enviable.
Anne Marie Bennett wrote a powerful story in such a delicate way that gave me some relief and hope. I won't easily forget it.
