Worth the Shots by Heather M. Orgeron
Synopsis:
He's country music's bad boy… could she be the girl to finally tame him?
Born into a life of wealth and privilege, Veronica Vanderbilt has never wanted for anything. Aside from a man, that is…
Thanks to her overprotective father, Ronnie’s lovelife is non-existent.
Attending a prestigious music school in Nashville seems like the perfect solution. There, she can pursue her dreams and finally find someone to punch her V-card…
Enter Aiden Addams—a country rock god, whose reputation precedes him both on stage and in the bedroom. It’s hate at first sight, even if she does keep picturing him naked.
On the surface, the pair couldn’t be more different. But as it turns out, they each have something the other needs. She’s got the pristine image required to clean up his playboy rap. And he has the sexpertise to transform her into a temptress no man could resist.
But when the line between lust and love starts to blur, they’ll have to decide if risking their hearts is worth the shot…

Review:
I was so excited to finally know better the last
member of the Rhett Taylor Band, and the five stars rating tells you I
wasn't disappointed.
The author has wonderfully brought to life these characters and their story. The slow burn and the steamy chemistry between Aiden and Veronica blend perfectly in an intriguing storyline that don't let the reader to put this book down, not even for a minute.
After a bad night and a broken hand, Aiden Addams needs help to save his career, and a temporary replacement for his shows at the Club Booze & Bad Decision. Veronica Vanderbilt is the right person to solve both of his problems, she is a young talented artist who accepts to become his fake girlfriend and to replace him at the piano.
Aiden and Veronica are so right for each other, they belong together. I loved these characters, Ronnie's naivety and Aiden's rough appearance were endearing, they are opposite but they succeed to breach each other heart walls.
It was very exciting to follow them in this journey where Ronnie helped Aiden to discover his own worth, and Aiden helped Ronnie to gain more confidence with men.
Worth The Shots could be read as a standalone, but I wouldn't let Heather M. Orgeron previous works get away.
