Chocolate Cake for Breakfast by Rosie Green

Synopsis:

After a shocking accident, Martha Munro has given up on her childhood dreams. With her confidence shattered, even leaving the house is scary, and a promising romance with gorgeous Logan is over before it even has a chance to begin. But cheered on by her dad and her great friend, Madison, she makes a decision that could change everything. Can Martha find the courage to step out into the world and love again?

Review:

Martha, an aspiring author, and Logan, a marketing manager, meet in a hotel lobby and they spark an instantly liking. For an unfortunate and unpredictable the two lose sight until they meet again but everything feel wrong...is their chance at a happy ending compromised?

Martha is a very kind and sweet woman and Logan is a nice man, they match really well. I liked both of them and cheered them through their ups and downs.

The storyline is, once again, interesting and different from the previous ones in the Little Duck Pond Cafe. It tugs at the heartstrings inspiring so many emotions, it's really difficult to put down and to forget these characters.

I totally recommend this series. Don't be scared to start it because they are, for the most, stand-alone stories.
